Meta Platform is a Tech Provider platform. We process WhatsApp Business Platform data on behalf of our business customers so they can send and receive messages, manage templates, and operate a shared inbox.

Data we process

  • Account data: name, email, organization name.
  • WhatsApp Business Account identifiers (WABA ID, phone number ID) and encrypted access tokens.
  • Message content and metadata delivered by Meta webhooks, stored so the customer can use the inbox.
  • Template names, languages, statuses, and bodies needed to send business-initiated messages.

How we use it

We use Platform Data only to provide the customer’s requested service: onboarding via Embedded Signup, sending and receiving WhatsApp messages, template management, and support. We do not sell Platform Data or use it to train unrelated models.

Sharing

We share data with Meta as required to operate the Cloud API, and with subprocessors needed to host this application. Customers control their own WhatsApp assets in Meta Business Suite.

Retention and deletion

Customers may request deletion of their workspace. Meta users can trigger our data deletion callback. Status of a request is shown at the confirmation URL returned to Meta.
